Guts casino is a game changer, one of those rare casinos that appears from nowhere and instantly raises the bar.
Launched in 2013, Guts is aimed squarely at a modern, sophisticated audience. Rather than just another repackaged, run-of-the-mill casino, Guts was designed from the outset to cater for the demands of a generation of players who won't accept the limitations so often put in place by online casinos.
Knowing that people prefer to gamble online in many different settings, Guts works perfectly on desktops and mobile devices, so there's no need to download a separate version of the casino. The site is vivid and clean, with striking graphics and an extremely user-friendly interface, so you can find what you want with a minimum of fuss. 'Sticky' navigation means that the information you need is always to hand.
Guts is not tied in with one software supplier, it offers games from over 10 different companies, meaning over 700 in total. These are mainly slots, but there are some excellent table games (see 'Games' tab) and even a Live Dealer casino.
One major complaint online casino players have is the length of time it takes to receive a withdrawal. Guts have addressed this also, with a stated aim of processing every payout within two hours or less.
Guts also offer deposit options tailored for each country, and an excellent 24/7 Customer Support department staffed by humans, not robots.
Read through this review for details on all the above, and we hope you'll agree with our conclusion that Guts casino has placed itself right at the top of the online gambling hierarchy.
Guts knows that the modern gambler wants to choose from the very best games available, and not to have that choice limited by some arbitrary rules or agreements. All too often, online casinos just seem to present the same content, repackaged in a different 'skin', so an RTG casino is very similar to every other, every Microgaming casino has the same range of games.
Guts breaks this trend by offering the best games from 10 different suppliers including Net Ent, Betsoft, Evolution, IGT, Microgaming and NYX gaming. They even go so far as to say that if you don't find your favourite game, let them know and they will do their best to get it for you!
As stated in the introduction, there's no need to download any software, the games run right in your browser. And you can play every game for FREE, without even having to register.
Guts offers a great selection of Table games, with enough variety to satisfy even the most specific of player.
They have 11 Blackjack / 21 games, including Pontoon and an excellent Platinum VIP Live Dealer game.
If you prefer Roulette, you're even better off, as they offer 13 different versions, including European, French and American, plus the exotic 3 Wheel and Triple Bonus Spin Roulettes.
They also have Baccarat (AND Punto Banco), Pai Gow Poker, Casino Hold Em, Bonus Keno and over 30 Lottery, Scratch card and Arcade games such as Max Damage, a casino twist on the classic Space Invader / Galaxian games, fot the retro arcade gamer in you!
One big omission is that there's no Sic Bo, but we've put in a request for one, so hopefully they'll be true to their word and try to get one for Fortune Palace players!
If you're a hardcore Slots player, you'll love Guts. Quite literally, they have every one of your favourite games, and hundreds more you've probably never even heard of.
There's no point trying to list all the games, as there's just too many (and the list is constantly growing!) but in a nutshell, if you want it, they've got it!
With so many games available, you need an efficient method of finding them and the search menu (see picture, top right) is really simple to use - you can search by name, popularity and software provider, and you can display the games as a table or a list.
Games are categorised into Video Slots, Classic Slots and Jackpots. Guts also include the excellent 3D Slots from Betsoft, where 3D animated characters interact with you during the game, in an ongoing narrative.
3D slots give a unique and modern twist for the experienced Slots player, and perfectly represent what Guts is all about.

Guts offers a good range of Live Dealer games, powered by Evolution Gaming - our #1 choice for Live casino games. Evolution sends its live stream from their studio in Riga, Latvia. They've invested well in the technology, ensuring the feed is fast and clear with no lagging. Guts include Evolution's Live Baccarat, Roulette and Blackjack.
The Baccarat has table limits of between £1 and £1000 and is available 24/7 with unlimited seats. Each game takes 49 seconds on average, giving an excellent 73 games per hour.
Guts have taken the decision not to offer Evolution's standard Roulette games, but to give players something a little different with Immersive Roulette. This is very similar to the late night Roulette you see on TV, where the dealers are slightly more laid-back and interactive with the players. It's entertaining, but if you want a more sophisticated Live Roulette game, you may be better looking elsewhere.
Similarly with Blackjack, where Guts offer the exclusive Platinum VIP game, which is excellent, but not available 24/7.
In addition to the games mentioned above, Guts also offer Live versions of Three Card Poker and Casino Hold Em, again proving that their aim is to offer a selection over and above what's available elsewhere.

If there's one area where Guts casino falls short, it's in the bonus offers. Not that there's anything wrong with their €300 welcome package, just that it's only available for Slots, and excludes Table games.
The Slots bonus is decent - effectively a 60% match over your first three deposits, with 35x wagering. And they also throw in 50 free spins on Starburst on your 1st and 3rd deposits (100 free spins in total).
They also have two weekly bonuses in the form of More Money Monday (50% extra up to €35) and Free Spin Friday, but these are again aimed solely at Slots players.
As discussed, most of the 700 games on offer at Guts are Slots, but they include a decent selection of Table games, so it's a pity that there's no bonus for those who want to play. It's definitely an area that Guts should look at, and would help them to score higher in our review - maybe making them our first 100% casino!

Banking is another area where Guts have put in extra effort in order to provide players with the best possible service. Understanding that players in different countries face different challenges, Guts have specifically identified easy deposit methods for each currency (EUR, GBP, NOK, SEK, USD).
There are 10 deposit methods available, including Visa and Mastercard credit cards, ewallets like Neteller, Skrill and Ukash, and Bank Transfer. To make things easy, you can see which options are available to you when you log in to your account and click on 'Deposit'.
Most deposit options are free and instant and allow deposits from €10 up to a maximum of €5,000. Credit cards incur a 2.5% fee, and Bank Transfer can take a few days to process.
But it's when it come to payouts that Guts excel. Too many online casinos place unnecessary and frustrating delays on withdrawals, insisting on random 'security checks' or id verification.
Guts tagline is 'Why wait?' and this is perfectly demonstrated here. When you request a payout, Guts aim to process it within two hours or less. Not satisfied with that, Guts are currently looking at ways to reduce withdrawal times even further!
The only downside is that they charge a fee of €2.50 on each withdrawal method. We'd prefer it if they had at least one free withdrawal method for every currency.
The time and effort Guts have put - and continue to put - into this essential area of their business means they earn a 4/5 rating for Banking.

Trust is non-negotiable when playing at an online casino, and Guts have that principle at their core.
Many online casinos have vague references of being 'licensed by the xyz' Gaming authority, or being operated by 'ABC ltd', but Guts leave you in no doubt as to their trustworthiness by showing the exact licence numbers of themselves and their operating companies, and providing physical addresses - should you want to visit!
Guts has a Class 1 licence numbered LGA/CL1/497/2010 from the Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority and the Casino Services is provided by EveryMatrix N.V., a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of Curacao, bearing company registration number 108354 and license number No.1668/JAZ granted by the Government of Curacao. The website is owned by Guts Gaming Limited, a company bearing registration number C56545.
Guts uses the latest in industry approved Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology (used by a large number of banking corporations) to ensure your information is kept safe, secure and fully encrypted. All player funds deposited are ring-fenced in a separate Bank of Valletta account which is isolated from other company accounts.
Once again, Guts demonstrate that they know exactly what players want - and give it to them.

Guts have excellent Customer Support - not only in the number of options, but also in the quality of help provided.
Access to Support is always available via the sticky navigation - it simply pulls out from the right hand side of the screen whenever you need it, even in-game.
From the menu you can access Live Chat, email ([email protected]) and a Phone callback facility - Guts policy is that speaking to a member of support should never cost you money! The pull-out help menu also offers Deposit and Payout information, plus a list of game rules and an FAQ section.
The Live Chat at Guts is excellent. It's powered here by 'LiveChat', as opposed to the more common, semi-automated 'LivePerson'. The operators are clearly human, and are there to assist, not just push bonuses.
We got through to an operator called Tiia within 20 seconds and asked some very specific questions about games (eg 'is there a Bet Behind facility on Live Blackjack?') and deposits ('if I deposit with my Mastercard, do I need to withdraw to a different method?') The responses were quick and accurate and the chat lasted for just 20 minutes. We've spent half an hour at other casinos just going round in circles!
Yet again, the extra effort Guts have put into this vital element of an online casino gives them a 5 from 5 rating.

Guts was launched in 2013 by a group of experienced iGaming professionals, with a clear aim of making a difference to the online gaming industry. In many areas, they've done exactly that.
From a playing point of view, Guts is an excellent, modern-looking casino, designed for a new generation of players who want to choose how and when they play. The site is extremely user-friendly and designed to remove all unnecessary hassles. The selection of games is vast, and using multiple software providers means Guts can - and will - always offer the best choice available.
But it's in the other, less glamorous, areas where Guts really stands out. Banking designed to address players' concerns over limited deposit options and ridiculously slow payouts; Genuine 24/7 support with live, knowledgeable and courteous staff; Transparent company and licensing details, so players know they're spending their time and money with a reputable outfit. In each of those areas, Guts scores highly.
It's only in the bonus selection where Guts falls short, offering a decent set of bonuses to Slots players, but nothing to Table Games players. It isn't a huge issue (after all, we don't recommend playing with bonuses in most cases!) but certainly something that Guts could look at.
In summary, Guts is everything a 21st century online casino should be. It's come on to the scene and changed it forever. Other casinos should sit up and take notice - Guts has gone straight to the top of the tree!
