Ante-Post Betting Tutorials

By | November 21, 2014

A new feature we are introducing for this National Hunt season, is a series of Ante-Post Betting Tutorials from our very own betting expert, The General.

The General uses all the stats from recent renewals of big races to help to decipher any particular trends or biases that can aid in finding the winners. This style of betting isn’t for everyone and form gurus will scoff at the idea that people use stats.

However, in familiarity there is comfort and trainers are not known for breaking the mould when it comes to racing their horses.

Time after time, the same trainers will trod well worn paths. They will plot the season from back to front.

If a race has served them well in the past, then they will happily revisit it again.

Don’t get fooled into thinking that trainers will only run a horse in a race if it suits that horse, this is a myth. Horses run to please their owners and trainers end of.

The first 3 races that The General will be looking at are:

The Hennessy Gold Cup – with Annacotty already advised – on the 29th November

The Becher Chase – on the 6th December

The Welsh Grand National – on the 27th December

The first video is already live on Youtube and can be seen by following this link:

And don’t forget to check the prices for all these races at Racebets the best online bookies for Ante-Post prices.
